Kombucha is a fermented tea rich with enzymes, probiotics, and organic acids. Originally discovered in Manchuria, China in 221 BCE, it was traditionally made at home and religiously consumed for its health benefits.
Commonly referred to as "The Drink of Immortality," kombucha migrated to Japan, Russia and Germany - eventually arriving to the US in the 1990's. In 1995, GT Dave (founder of GT's Living Foods) bottled the first bottle of SYNERGY Raw Kombucha after witnessing how his Mother relied on it during her battle with breast cancer.
