Frequently Asked Questions
Does SYNERGY have alcohol in it?
SYNERGY Raw Kombucha is naturally fermented for 30 days. During fermentation, alcohol is created as nature's defense against contamination.
What is the role of sugar in kombucha?
Kombucha is grown, not made. Similar to a fruit or vegetable, rather than a soda or energy drink, kombucha is a living food and requires an energy source to grow and thrive. Therefore, SYNERGY is made with a lightly sweetened base to feed the cultures and encourage them to reproduce. The sugar in SYNERGY is meant for the culture, not for you.
How much SYNERGY should I drink?
If you are new to kombucha, we recommend starting small with about 4 ounces and building a routine over time, just as you would with any new fitness or wellness regimen. As your body acclimates to the living probiotics, you may experience the detoxifying effects typically associated with a cleanse. This may show up as gas, bloat, or a change in stool.
When is the best time to drink SYNERGY?
There is no right or wrong time to enjoy SYNERGY. Drink earlier in the day for a gentle energy boost, midday for aided digestion, and in the evenings to curb cravings or substitute for alcohol.
