WHAT IS WATER KEFIR

With origins dating back to the 1800’s, water kefir has been used for centuries for natural hydration and physical replenishment. Considered a “younger sister” to Kombucha, water kefir is crafted with kefir crystals that grow on the pads of the prickly pear cactus. These crystals are used to culture a sweetened base over the course of a week to create a lightly sparkling, refreshing tonic.
